"Weathering the Storm" Salkehatchie Stew's 2010 play

"Weathering the Storm" Salkehatchie Stew's 2010 play will be produced in Allendale, Denmark, Hampton, and Estill on weekends beginning April 16.

The play, based on stories gathered from the region with original music and dance, shows how folks deal with bad weather, hard times, cultural changes, and interesting relatives and friends.

Production dates are
April 16-18 in Allendale at the B&G Civic Center,
April 23-25 at the Dane Theater in Denmark,
April 30 & May 1 in Hampton at the Palmetto Theater, and
May 2 in Estill at the Estill School District Auditorium.

Performance times in all theaters are Friday evenings at 7:30 and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 3:00.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children 3-12. 


Groups of 15 or more may have a reduced rate if purchased in advance.
A BBQ meal will be offered at the B&G Civic Center before the three Allendale performances. Tickets will be available in advance.
