Called the "Isundiga" by the Indians, this waterway holds some of the most important historical spots in the nation.

Steel Creek, Little Hell, Johnson's Landing, Burton's Ferry, Fennel Hill (private), Cohen's Bluff, and Mathew's Bluff are points of public access to the Savannah River.
