Academy St, Barnwell, South Carolina
Constructed in 1848, the building was originally home to the Barnwell Presbyterian Church.
When the county courthouse was burned by invading Federal troops in 1865, the building was used as the courthouse.
The building has been renovated and now houses the Barnwell Performing and Cultural Arts Center.
The Circle Theatre presents four to six events during the year.
